Meet Kellie Chappell-Gonzalez, Founding Attorney
North Carolina Attorney Kellie Chappell-Gonzalez, the firm’s founder, has over fifteen years of experience practicing in the areas of family law, criminal and traffic law, wills and trusts, and real estate law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from North Carolina State University. Kellie then went on to receive her Master of Arts in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University. Attorney Gonzalez is a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she received diverse exposure to various venues of the legal system through her internships with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Kellie was selected as a Senior Editor for the North Carolina Central Law Journal, as well as winning a spot on the prestigious Moot Court Team. In her participation on the Moot Court Team, Kellie was awarded recognition as a semi-finalist in the National Organization for Women’s (NOW) 5th Annual Sojourner Truth Moot Court Competition. The competition featured contestants from law schools throughout the United States. Kellie also served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association.
Kellie is active in her local legal community. She has participated in the Wake County Bar Association’s “Lunch with a Lawyer Program” and interviews potential candidates for admission to the North Carolina Bar. She has been a member of the Raleigh Junior League and is a graduate of the Raleigh Leadership Academy. She is currently involved in the Junior League of Greenville, NC and has served as a Board Member. She also serves her community in her role on the City of Greenville’s Community Appearance Commission.
She was born and raised in North Carolina and is married to Eduardo Gonzalez. They have two daughters.
